Springville Water/Sewer
Our Water/Sewer leadman and his team oversee the operation of the Village of Springville’s three wells and all the related pumping equipment. They are also responsible for the operation of the filtration plant, where the water is treated for iron removal and disinfected with chlorine, and supplemented with fluoride. They monitor the nearly 25 miles of water main, as well as 20 miles of sanitary sewer lines. The Leadman and all water personnel are licensed by the New York State Health Dept. for water treatment operations. The Division operates from 7:00am to 3:30pm daily and generally from 7:00am until 9:00am on weekends and holidays. The water facility serves approximately 2500 customers and produces an average of 500,000 of water per day for customer use. The Village of Springville provides a high-quality, reliable and affordable water supply capable of meeting both the current and future needs of the Village.
